Very nice cafe with an amazing selection of cakes. The mini Frankfurter Kranz is awesome. The other cakes (which my family had) were delicious too. All in all really great. Not very cheap, but special.

You can hardly get past the great cakes. Very nice café in the best location with very friendly service. The rhubarb cake with meringue topping is an experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. For me as a photographer it's always a beautiful place that I like to visit and take photos. The architecture is extraordinary and romantic. The staff knows me again and again when I visit Frankfurt am Main.

Delicious Frankfurter Kranz tartlets, also suitable for sharing. The coffee and cappuccino was good too. Nice old coffee house with the possibility to use the toilets before going on a sightseeing tour through Frankfurt.

Delicious coffee and cake near the new old town in Frankfurt. The service was very friendly and you sit quite comfortably. In terms of price, the feast is not a bargain for the location.

It is located under a sweet building across Frankfurt Cathedral. Although the church is currently renovated, the ambience is still nice, not even affected by the sound of the maintenance work. Plus coffee was soo tasty! Quick service & friendly stuff

Nice café in the middle of the "new" old town of Frankfurt. we had good coffee and a delicious mini Frankfurter wreath. Overall there was a great selection of pieces and cakes. Everything was very nice and clean

Incredibly personable and friendly staff. Absolutely delicious coffee and cake. Nice ambience. A walk through Haus St is also recommended. Therefore I would like to get full marks.

Came for coffee and cake. Cakes were delicious, but latte macchiato is served in the most ridiculous glass. One member of our party had a black tea and was charged 50 cent for a tiny pot of milk. Umbrellas are very unstable in the wind, with one blowing over.

Lovely building outside. Coffee media with a wide variety of sweets. Prices are a bit high - but reasonable for the place where one is, in the historic center of Frankfurt, in the most touristic area.

Best carrot cake in Frankfurt!

I ordered a citrus tarte with with white cream chantilly on top , it was horrible , I can feel the sugar under my teeth from the cream. The tarte was very hard , cannot even cut it, I returned the whole dessert 1. They did not ask if I want something else 2. They made me pay for it! Very disappointing experience!

Everything is just right in the Goldene Waage coffee house. Lots of delicious cakes, which taste very tasty. Due to the large selection, every customer is provided to their full satisfaction. Especially in summer you can sit comfortably in the garden, which is decorated with lots of flowers and creates a positive atmosphere. Price / performance ratio is right, quality has its price and is not disappointed there. The staff are very friendly, so you feel very welcome as a guest. Clear recommendation.

Absolutely worth seeing ... not only the main room, but also the half-open mezzanine and the rear room. The cakes are simply sensational. From there you can go directly to the Stoltze Museum.

Very historic building. No name on the outside of the building but lots of cakes in the windows. There is additional seating upstairs and in the back. The process is to order your cake and they will bring it to your table, then you order your coffee. Very fresh tasting cakes with fresh whipped cream. A bit pricey but worth the experience.

Great selection of cakes ? Loved the ambiance in the Neue Altstadt. Waiting for a table can be frustrating. It is loaded on weekends.
